Remove the alternator

Remove cap (1).

Unscrew nut (2).

Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths

For this purpose, counterhold alternator shaft (3).

Commercially available devices/tools
Torx® T50 socket wrench socket
Open end wrench bit 24 mm
Hexagon socket 24 mm

Collar nut, connecting belt pulley to alternator

Remove belt pulley (4).

If necessary,

Remove off belt pulley (4).

Puller, two-arm

Check

Check belt pulley (4) for wear and damage.

Depending on the findings,

Replace belt pulley (4).

Install in the reverse order.
