1 | Raise vehicle with vehicle lift | ||
2 | Remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler | On vehicles with engine 660.951 | |
Pull exhaust gas recirculation cooler toward front in engine compartment with coolant lines and mixing chamber connected until crankshaft position sensor (L5) is accessible | |||
3 | Loosen retaining clamps (1) on electrical wiring harness to oil pressure switch from cylinder crankcase | On vehicles with engine 660.950 | |
4 | Unscrew bolt (2) from mount on exhaust gas recirculation cooler | On vehicles with engine 660.950 | |

5 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) | ||
6 | Unscrew bolt (4) and crankshaft position sensor (L5) | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Read out fault memory, erase if necessary | When replacing the crankshaft position sensor (L5). | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory |
