Danger !

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Lift/jack up vehicle

Remove screw/bolt (1)

Screw/bolt, crankshaft position sensor to cylinder crankcase

Pull out crankshaft position sensor (L5/7) until the electrical connection of the crankshaft position sensor (L5/7) is accessible

Disconnect electrical connection on crankshaft position sensor (L5/7)

Remove crankshaft position sensor (L5/7)

Install in the reverse order
