| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove engine cover (2). | ||
2 | Remove engine cover (3). | ||
3 | Unclip clamp (5) on air filter housing (1). | Mounting wedge | |
4 | Remove CDI control unit (N3/9) on air filter housing (1) and place to one side with electrical lines connected | ||
5 | Unclip electrical wiring harness (6) at the air filter housing (1). | Mounting wedge | |
6 | Unclip engine air intake duct (4) from the air filter housing (1) on both sides and remove. | Mounting wedge | |
7 | Remove engine air intake duct from the air filter housing (1) downstream of the air filter. | ||
8 | Loosen screw (7). | Bolt, elastomer bearing for air filter housing to charge air cooler | |
9 | Lift air filter housing (1) and remove in upward direction | Installation: Replace seal on air filter housing (1). | |
Installation: Coat rubber mount with lubricant paste. | |||
Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l | |||
10 | Check rubber mount on the air filter housing (1) for damage and correct seating. | If problems exist, | |
| |||
Replace rubber mount on air filter housing (1) or position correctly. | |||
11 | Install in the reverse order. |
