1 | Loosen EGR [ARF] switchover valve (Y27) on air filter housing bottom section (1) and place to one side with vacuum hoses connected as well as electrical connector connected | Model 451.3## /4## #K up to 452007 | |
2 | Separate electrical connector at hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) | ||
3 | Loosen screw clamp (2) and detach air intake line (3) on hot film air mass meter (B2/5) | ||
4 | Unclip retaining clamps (4) and remove air filter housing top section (5) with hot film air mass meter (B2/5) | ||
5 | Remove air filter element from air filter housing bottom section (1) | ||
6 | Fix retaining clamps (4) using a suitable adhesive tape to air filter housing bottom section (1) | ||
7 | Remove bolts (6) on air filter housing bottom section (1) and remove together with the washers | ||
8 | Loosen retaining clamp for electrical wiring harness (7) on air filter housing bottom section (1) | ||
9 | Remove fender liner from left rear fender | ||
10 | Remove air intake line (8) | ||
11 | Unclip air filter housing bottom section (1) from the bracket on transmission and lead out to the side between integral carrier and transmission | ||
12 | Remove bolt for mounting the ARF switchover valve (Y27) on air filter housing bottom section (1) | For replacing the complete air filter housing. | |
13 | Remove bolts for the hot film air mass meter (B2/5) and remove hot film air mass meter (B2/5) from air filter housing top section (5) | For replacing the complete air filter housing. | |
14 | Install in the reverse order |
