3 | Unscrew screw/bolts (1) and remove exhaust gas recirculation switchover valve (Y27) with bracket (2) from filter box bottom section | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) at EGR [ARF] switchover valve (Y27) | ||
5 | Remove vacuum hoses (4) from exhaust gas recirculation switchover valve (Y27) and remove exhaust gas recirculation switchover valve (Y27) with bracket (2) | Installation: Do not use any slide or lubricant when assembling the vacuum hoses (4). Function impairments of the ARF switchover valve (Y27) can occur otherwise. | |
6 | Unscrew nuts (5) and remove bracket (2) from exhaust gas recirculation switchover valve (Y27) | When replacing an EGR [ARF] switchover valve (Y27). | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Read out fault memory, erase if necessary |
