Remove/install

Drain coolant for cooling of high-voltage battery cooling system.

Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).

Remove coolant hose line (3) from switchover valve (1).

 Collect escaping coolant.
Close openings.

Remove coolant hose line (4) from switchover valve (1).

Remove nuts (6).

Remove coolant hose line (5) from switchover valve (1).

Close openings.

Remove the switchover valve (1).

 For this purpose, release and disconnect electrical connector (7).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check high-voltage battery cooling system in area of switchover valve (1) for leaks.
