Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Drain coolant for high-voltage battery cooling system.

Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).

Remove catch spring (3).

Pull out and remove coolant temperature sensor (1) from connection fitting (4).

 Collect escaping coolant.

Seal opening at connection fitting (4) with a suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Check coolant temperature sensor (1) and O-ring (5) for damage.

If damage is detected,



replace coolant temperature sensor (1).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

8

Check high-voltage battery cooling system in area of coolant temperature sensor (1) for leaks.
