Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Remove engine compartment cover.

Clamp off coolant hoses (1) with clamping devices.

Remove coolant hoses (1) from coolant thermostat (2).

 Collect escaping coolant with dry cloths.

Seal the connections of the coolant hoses (1) on the coolant thermostat (2) with suitable stop plugs.

 Record plug

Remove nut (3).

Remove the coolant thermostat (2) from the bracket.

7

Install in the reverse order.

8

Correct coolant level.



Perform venting routine with diagnostic device.
