Remove/install

Drain coolant of main circuit.

Remove coolant line (2) at coupling (3) from connection fitting (1).

 Collect escaping coolant. Plug openings.

 Record plug

Remove bolts (5).

Remove connection fitting (1) from axle drive module (4) with a suitable tool.


Handle connection fitting (1) with care, do not twist.
Danger of breakage.

 Installation: Coat O-ring (10) of connection fitting (1) with lubricant.

 Seal opening at axle drive module (4) with a suitable stop plug.

Check connection fitting (1) and O-ring (10) for damage.

If damage is detected



Replace connection fitting (1).

Install in the reverse order.
