Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove protective plate.

 Installation: Do not install protective plate until after leak test.

Drain coolant of auxiliary circuit.

 The switchover valve (1) and coolant hoses (2) are already removed in the process.

Disconnect electrical connector (3).

Remove the switchover valve (1).

 To do so, remove coolant hose (4) from connection fitting at switchover valve (1).
Collect escaping coolant. Plug openings.

Install in the reverse order.

Perform commissioning of switchover valve (1) with vehicle diagnosis system.

If switchover valve (1) is replaced.



Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit
