| Remove/install | ||
1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
2 | Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2). | ||
3 | Remove screw (3) . | ||
4 | Pull rear rpm sensor (1) out of axle drive module (5) and remove. | ||
| Transmission oils (specification 236.24) | ||
Installation: Coat O-ring (4) of rear rpm sensor (1) with transmission oil. | |||
5 | Check O-ring (4) of rear rpm sensor (1) for damage. | If damage is detected | |
| |||
Replace rear rpm sensor (1). | |||
6 | Install in the reverse order. |
