Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Slowly open cap of main circuit coolant expansion reservoir and release overpressure.

 The coolant expansion reservoir of the main circuit is located in the engine compartment on the left.

Remove front engine compartment lining at bottom.

Disconnect electrical connector (1).

Release lock (2) and remove low-temperature coolant circuit temperature sensor 1 (B11/6).

 Catch escaping coolant with a suitable container.

Seal connection of low-temperature coolant circuit temperature sensor 1 (B11/6) using a suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Install in the reverse order.

Correct coolant level.



Perform venting routine with diagnostic device.
