Disconnect ground lead from battery

Installation: -Encode radio.
-Set clock.

Take off cover on right below instrument panel

Remove side air vent (1) on right

Unplug connectors (A53.1, A53.2, A53.3, A53.4, A53.5) from CDI control module (A53)

Unplug connector from ETC control module (A4)

Only if code G40 fitted.

Detach CDI control module (A53) from bracket

Press CDI control module (A53) up from below until it detaches from the bracket. The CDI control module (A53) can be installed next to the convenience closing system control module (A19) and the ETC control module (A4); do not mix up.

Remove CDI control module (A53)

Install in the reverse order
