Remove/install

Remove rear CBS

Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Raise vehicle with vehicle lift

Disconnect electrical connector (2)

Release clamps (3) and detach hoses from diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/8)

Replace collar clamps (3).

Unscrew screw (1) and remove diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/8)

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory, erase if necessary

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
