| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove trim panel of cylinder head cover
2 | Remove hose clamps (5) at regeneration lines (4) and regeneration lines (4) | Only hose clamps(5) on pressure lines for catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit should be detached. When detaching hose clamps at pressure differential sensor (DPF) (B28/8), hairline cracks can arise and thus damage to the pressure differential sensor (DPF) (B28/8).
Pay attention to installation position of regeneration lines (4).
3 | Unclip regeneration lines (4) for catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit from bracket (1)
4 | Unscrew nut (3) on pressure differential sensor (DPF) (B28/8) and pressure differential sensor (DPF) (B28/8)
5 | Install in the reverse order
6 | Read fault memory, erase if necessary
