1 | Remove injection lines. | ||
2 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3). | ||
3 | Unscrew the union nut (2) and collect any escaping fuel with a dry cloth. | ||
Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths | |||

Open double hexagon box wrench | |||
4 | Open the snap clamp (6). | Installation: Replace snap clamp (6). | |
Pliers for click clamps | |||
5 | Remove the fuel return line (7) on the rail (1) and collect any escaping fuel with a dry cloth. | ||
6 | Unscrew the screws (4) and fold up the holder (5). | Bolt, rail clip to cylinder head cover | |
7 | Remove rail (1). | ||
8 | Seal the openings on the rail (1) and high-pressure line with stop plugs. | Record plug | |
9 | Install in the reverse order. |
