1 | Disconnect electrical connection (4) at quantity control valve (Y94) | ||
2 | Clean high-pressure pump in the area of quantity control valve (Y94) with cold cleaning solvent and dry with compressed air | Cold degreasing agent/cold cleaning solvent HAKU 1025-920 | |
3 | Unscrew screw/bolts (3) by one to two threads and suck out dirt residues or peeling paint in the area of quantity control valve (Y94) using a vacuum cleaner | Use absorbent, lint-free cloth to collect any fuel that runs out. | |
4 | Remove screw/bolt (3) | Bolt, quantity control valve to high-pressure pump housing flange | |
5 | Pull out quantity control valve (Y94) by hand under rotary movement | | |
Installation: Clean flange hole and sealing surface of housing flange. Suck dirt residues or peeling paint out of the quantity control valve (Y94) bores using a vacuum cleaner. Replace O-rings and grease. Fit on quantity control valve (Y94) and press with a rotary movement into housing flange, then align. | |||
