2 | With the aid of a screwdriver, press the cover (1) outwards. | Pay attention not to damage the housing bores for the cover (1) | |
3 | Clean camshafts (2) and (3) | The housing bores (gluing points) for the covers (1) must be oil and grease-free. | |
4 | Apply adhesive (Loctite) all over the cover (1) | ||
5 | With the aid of an appropriate mandrel, insert the new cover(1) by knocking it. | ||
6 | The assembly is carried out in reverse order |
