Removing and installing

Remove camshafts (2) and (3)

With the aid of a screwdriver, press the cover (1) outwards.

Pay attention not to damage the housing bores for the cover (1)

Clean camshafts (2) and (3)

The housing bores (gluing points) for the covers (1) must be oil and grease-free.

Apply adhesive (Loctite) all over the cover (1)

With the aid of an appropriate mandrel, insert the new cover(1) by knocking it.

The assembly is carried out in reverse order
