| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove covering over engine | Installation: Only install covering over engine after a leak test. | |
2 | Disconnect electrical connection (1) on variable camshaft adjustment valve (Y49/10) | ||
3 | Remove screw/bolt (2) | Bolt, valve for variable camshaft adjustment to timing case cover | |
4 | Remove variable camshaft adjustment valve (Y49/10) from the timing case cover (3) | Installation: Replace sealing ring (4). | |
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
6 | Connect diagnostic unit and read out fault memory | For replacing the variable camshaft adjustment valve (Y49/10). | |
