| Counterhold intake camshaft using an open end wrench.

| Bolt, camshaft adjuster to intake camshaft

| Remove camshaft positioner (1) from intake camshaft
| Check gear for camshaft positioner (1) for wear and damage.
|
|
|
|
| For wear or damage:
|

|

|
| Replace camshaft positioner (1) and timing chain (3).
|

| Install in the reverse order
