Remove/install

Remove timing case cover

Remove chain tensioner

Pull bearing pin (3) with impact extractor out of the cylinder head (4) and remove slide rail (1)

 Installation: Screw suitable screw/bolts into bearing pins (3). Drive in bearing pin (3) and remove screw/bolts again.

Pull bearing pins (5) out of crankcase with impact extractor and remove tensioning rail (2)

 Installation: Screw a suitable screw/bolt into the bearing pin (5). Drive in bearing pin (5) and remove screw/bolt again.

Install in the reverse order
