1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
2 | Remove poly-V-belt. | ||
3 | Rotate engine at center bolt (1) and set cylinder 1 to top dead center (TDC). | Socket wrench bit | |
4 | Install retaining lock for crankshaft / starter ring gear. | ||
5 | Remove center bolt (1). | Installation: Install new central bolt (1). | |

6 | Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (2) from crankshaft (3). | Installation: Place belt pulley/vibration damper (2) on crankshaft (3) and rotate to ensure that the feather key of the crankshaft (3) is engaged in the groove (4) on the belt pulley/vibration damper (2). | |

7 | Check contact surface of radial shaft sealing ring (5) for scoring and galling on the belt pulley/vibration damper (2) hub. | If there is a problem, | |

Replace belt pulley/vibration damper (2). | |||
8 | Remove front radial shaft sealing ring (5) from crankshaft (3). | If damage or leakage is detected. | |
9 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
