1 | Remove fan unit | ||
2 | Detach charge air cooler and place to one side with attached coolant lines | ||
3 | Only detach poly-V belt from belt pulley/vibration damper. | ||
4 | Install retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear | ||
5 | Remove the center bolt (2) for the belt pulley/vibration damper (1) | Center bolt, vibration damper | |
6 | Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (1) from crankshaft | Installation: The installation position is defined by the feather key of the crankshaft and the groove on the belt pulley/vibration damper. | |
| Check | ||
7 | Check freewheel for the belt pulley/vibration damper (1) and check belt pulley/vibration damper (1) for damage; replace if necessary | ||
8 | Check front crankshaft radial sealing ring; replace if necessary | ||
9 | Install in the reverse order | ||
