Crankshaft radial sealing ring



Remove

Remove belt pulley/vibration damper

AR03.30-P-1600LFD

Pry out crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) using a suitable tool


Do not damage crankshaft and mounting hole for the crankshaft radial sealing ring (1).
The leaktightness of the new crankshaft radial sealing ring (1) will not be achieved anymore otherwise. Use a clean rags as a base.



Install

Install front crankshaft radial sealing ring (1)

Install belt pulley/vibration damper

 In order to assure leaktightness of the new crankshaft radial sealing ring (1), check tread of hub for galling.



Check

Check/correct engine oil level

 Check engine oil level with engine at operating temperature.
