 Caution

Risk of injury to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing engine oil

Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Remove

Remove belt pulley

AR03.30-D-1700TSV

 Screw of belt pulley is required for installation of radial shaft sealing ring (1).

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (1) from timing case cover using suitable tool


In this connection, use clean rags as a base.
Crankshaft and seat of radial shaft sealing ring (1) can otherwise be damaged and this can result in leaks.

If damage is present



Repair or replace affected component parts.



Install

Install new radial shaft sealing ring (1)

Install the belt pulley

Check

Check engine oil level

Depending on findings



Correct engine oil level.


