2 | Remove attached parts in the area of the leaking core hole plug | Location of core hole cap, see arrows. | |
3 | Turn core hole cap | Push in one side of the core hole cap using a screwdriver until the collar of the core hole cap can be gripped. | |
4 | Pull out the core hole cap at the collar using pliers | ||
| Installing | ||
5 | Thoroughly clean core hole | The sealing surfaces must be free of oil, water and rust. | |
6 | Spray sealing surfaces on core hole and core hole cap with activator | ||
7 | Coat core hole with sealing compound | ||
8 | Knock in core hole plug flush | The sealing compound must be allowed to harden for about 45 minutes before pouring in coolant. | |
