Remove/install

Remove low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation cooler.

Remove screw (11) .

Screw, clamp for low pressure exhaust gas recirculation line to SCR catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit

Open clamp (12) and remove exhaust gas recirculation line (10).

Remove cylinder head cover.

Remove vent hose (7) from cap (6).

Remove screws (1 to 5) in the numerical sequence.

Installation: Screw in screws (1 to 5) in reverse numerical sequence.
Install new screws (1 to 5).

Bolt, chain case cover to cylinder head

Remove cap (6) from cylinder head.

Remove seal (9).

Installation: Replace seal (9).

Clean sealing surfaces on the cylinder head and on the cap (6).

Assembly cleaner

Install in the reverse order.
