Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.

Remove/install

Remove cylinder head cover.

Remove charge air pipe.

Pull off vent hose (3) at rear cover (1).

Remove screws (2) in reverse order to tightening procedure.

Remove rear cover (1).

Installation: Replace molded seal.

Clean

Clean sealing surfaces on cylinder head with a lint-free cloth.

Clean sealing surface on rear cover (1) with lint-free cloth.

When reusing the rear cover (1).

Install in the reverse order.
