 Caution

Remove cylinder head cover.

Remove low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation cooler.

Remove screws from exhaust gas recirculation line (1) and remove exhaust gas recirculation line (1).

 Bolt, high pressure EGR line to crankcase

Remove exhaust gas recirculation line bracket (2).

Remove chain case cover (3).

Tightening procedure for cover on cylinder head

 Always observe tightening procedure.

 Installation: Replace seal.

 Bolt, chain case cover to cylinder head

Clean

Clean sealing surfaces on the chain case cover (3) and cylinder head with a lint-free cloth.

Install in the reverse order.
