1.1 | Loosen wiring harnesses from bracket (4) | On vehicles with Code (K13) Diesel particulate filter | |
2.1 | Disconnect temperature sensor connector upstream diesel particulate filter (B19/9x1) and temperature sensor connector upstream turbocharger (B19/11x1) and place wiring harnesses to one side | On vehicles with Code (K13) Diesel particulate filter | |
3 | Remove oil separator | ||
4 | Remove rail | ||
5 | Remove injectors | ||
6 | Detach bracket (1) at cylinder head | ||
7 | Detach hose (2) at cylinder head cover (3) | ||
8 | Remove bolts on cylinder head cover (3) | The bolts in the cylinder head cover (3) are of varying lengths. | |
Installation: Observe tightening pattern of cylinder head cover (3). | |||

9 | Remove cylinder head cover (3) | Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and install new seals. | |
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||

11 | Conduct engine test run and check engine for leaks in the area of the cylinder head cover (3) |
