4 | Unscrew bolt (32) for attaching power steering fluid pipe (33) and A/C pipe (34) to bracket (35) | ||
5 | Detach receiver / drier (36) with A/C pipe (34) attached from engine | ||
6 | Unscrew bolt (1) of fastening clip of A/C pipe (2) on intake pipe (44) | With code H06 (air conditioning) only | |
7 | Detach poly V-belt | ||

8 | Detach standard generator (G1) | ||
9 | Detach A/C compressor (37) | Observe installation position of connector. | |

15 | Detach oil filter housing (42) | Unplug oil pressure switch connector. | |

19 | Detach protecting plate (15) from secondary air injection pump (M44) | ||
20 | Detach connector of secondary air injection pump (M44) | ||
21 | Detach cable (16) on secondary air injection pump (M44) | ||
22 | Detach secondary air injection pump (M44) with bracket | ||
23 | Detach bearing bracket (17) | ||
24 | Detach wiring harness with cable of secondary air injection pump (16) | ||
25 | Detach coolant thermostat (19) | ||
26 | Detach ignition coil (R9) | ||
27 | Guide coolant pipe (20) out of hole in the basic engine (21) | ||
28 | Detach intake pipe (44) | Detach intake pipe bracket (45) from cylinder head. Pull ignition cable holder (8) off cylinder head cover (9). The ignition cables can remain attached to the intake pipe. | |
29 | Remove spark plugs | ||
30 | Detach bracket (10) of injection valve connector (X175) | ||
31 | Detach camshaft hall sensor (B48) | ||
32 | Disconnect switchover valve connector of exhaust gas recirculation valve (23) | ||
33 | Guide the A/C control auxiliary coolant heater pump (M45) out of the rubber mount (24) and disconnect connector (M45.1) of the A/C control auxiliary coolant heater pump (M45) | Guide the A/C control auxiliary coolant heater pump (M45) with the coolant pipe installed out of the rubber mount (24). | |
34 | Detach bracket (25) of the A/C control auxiliary coolant heater pump (M45) with the main wiring harness / engine connector I (X98.1) | ||
