Model 447 with code CU1 (aerodynamic underfloor paneling)
Remove screw (5) and remove retaining frame (6) from the underbody.

 The retaining frame (6) remains on the integral carrier.

Align lifting platform with the corresponding major assembly mount below the vehicle and align with the marked areas on the integral carrier (3) and on the transmission.

Fix supports of the major assembly mount in place.

Allow supports of the major assembly mount to lie on the marked areas on the integral carrier (3) and on the transmission.

Secure integral carrier (3) centrally to the lifting platform using a tensioning strap.

Loosen screws (4) on the integral carrier (3).  

Model 447 with transmission 725.0 with code ZG2 (permanent all-wheel drive)
Loosen screws (7) on the integral carrier (3).  

Remove screws (2) and remove transmission carrier (1).

 Installation: Tighten screws (2) slightly by hand.

Remove screws/bolts (4).

 Installation: Lightly tighten bolts (4) by hand.

Remove screws (7).

 Installation: Tighten screws (7) slightly by hand.

Carefully lower lifting platform somewhat.

 Pay attention to all detachable parts.
Otherwise damage will occur.

 Helper required.

Remove universal joint of the steering shaft from the steering gear and guide supporting joint out of the steering knuckles.

 Pay attention to all detachable parts.
Otherwise damage will occur.

 Helper required.

Completely lower lifting platform and remove integral carrier (3) together with the engine, transmission, and cooler unit.

 Pay attention to all detachable parts.
Otherwise damage will occur.

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order.
