Removing

 Danger!

Risk of injury due to tear or warming up of cutting wire and through glass splinters when cutting out glued windows

Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.

Disconnect connector on heated rear window (X19) on left and right

 If applicable, disconnect electrical connector from rear window antenna (A2/32).

Cut out rear window (1) with Roll Out 2004 window removal tool

Remove rear window (1) from body with cup suction tool

 Aid of helper required.

Install

Prepare body flange for installation of window

 Allow primer to air-dry for a minimum of 10 minutes.

Pay attention to notes concerning the preparation of new parts such as the A-pillar, the roof or the side walls.

Apply adhesive material

 Install rear window (1) within 10 minutes before adhesive force of glue starts to decrease.

 Open a side window in the vehicle to prevent the rear window (1) from being pressed outward by air pressure when the door is closed

 Aid of helper required. The waiting time (time before vehicle can be driven) is approx. 1 h calculated from the time the rear window (1) is installed.

Connect left and right heated rear window connector

 If applicable, connect electrical connector for rear window antenna.
