1 | Extract residual oil from oil pan | Push plastic hose all the way into oil pan through oil filler pipe. The extracted oil runs into the reservoir (3). | |
Flushing | |||
2 | Connect pump (2) with pressure side to reservoir (3). | See fig. B. | |
3 | Fill reservoir (3) with kerosene | ||
4 | Push plastic hose onto connection fitting (1) and connect to oil cooler line (5) on transmission housing with a connection piece (4). | Unscrew banjo bolt of oil line. | |
5 | Connect the other plastic hose to the second oil cooler line on transmission in the same way | Unscrew banjo bolt of oil line. | |
6 | Guide free end of plastic hose into a sufficiently large receptacle | ||
7 | Flush oil cooler and oil cooler lines with kerosene | Ensure that the kerosene can flow through freely. Collect any oil which flows out in receptacle. | |
8 | Remove plastic hoses and blow out oil cooler and oil cooler lines thoroughly with compressed air. | ||
9 | Secure oil lines again with banjo bolts | ||
10 | Fill automatic transmission with new oil |
