Place support plates (1) to parallel position by shifting the support arms on the twin post hoist (2) to the specified vehicle lift support points (3) or the adapters (5)

 If necessary, secure vehicle against rolling away.
Commercially available devices/tools
Twin post hoist, 3.0-3.5 t electromechanical
Twin post hoist, 2.5-3.5 t electrohydraulic

Move support arms for twin post hoist (2) upwards until the support plates (1) are positioned at the specified vehicle lift support points (3) or the adapters (5)


The twin post hoist support arms (2) must not make contact with the body. If necessary, uniformly change adjustment height of support plates (1) at corresponding vehicle lift support points (3) or adapters (5).
Otherwise, the body could be damaged.



Check

Check support plates (1) are seated correctly and mass distribution of the vehicle


The support plates (1) must be correctly positioned relative to the specified vehicle lift support points (3) or adapters (5).
Otherwise, the body could be damaged.

 Support plates (1) must be positioned as close to mounting console as possible so that the cover is not damaged. Realign support plates (1) if necessary.

Raising

Raise vehicle to working height

When removing major assemblies or with heavy special equipment, the vehicle must be secured against tilting and falling down.


