 Since approx. 03/2014, vehicles have been equipped with oil separators with an open crankcase ventilation system as standard.
On vehicles built during the transition period from 02/2014 to 04/2014, a check must be made directly at the vehicle as to whether an oil separator with closed or an oil separator with an open crankcase ventilation system is installed.

Set data of operating fluids

 As a result of the conversion, there are changes to the maintenance routine, e.g. due to the absence of the diesel particulate filters.
In the onboard computer, the engine oil quality and the fuel grade must be changed under operating fluids so that the operating fluids correspond to those used or predominantly used.
The maintenance system then automatically adapts the service dates.
The setting can be made via the onboard computer (see the owner's manual) or XENTRY.
