The map data release update for the COMAND navigation system (see AP82.85-S-8252E) and the chargeable generation of an activation code for the map update in the Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc) may be invoiced for the above-mentioned vehicles as part of a delivery or handover inspection (see AP00.20-D-1100A).
The message text "Map data release for delivery inspection updated" and the following damage codes are to be used in the warranty claim:
