Observe the installation position of the belt end fitting (2) on the rear bench | |||

3.1 | Detach cover (4) from the rear seat backrest (5) | Only when removing the right rear seat backrest and with code (S33) rear bench seat foldable in two sections (3-person seat)) | |
Installation: Insert the cover (4) underneath the belt blocker (6). Ensure that the cover (4) is seated correctly. The seat belt (7) can only be pulled out of the automatic belt retractor when the rear seat backrest (5) is in a vertical position. | |||
4 | Remove headrest guides from rear seat backrest | ||
5 | Remove clips (8) and loosen the retaining straps (9) from the backrest frame (10) | Installation: Install new clips (8). The retaining straps (9) must be correctly tensioned when attaching the clips (8). | |
6 | Press the foam section (11) in the lower area out of the backrest frame (10) (arrows) | ||
7 | Detach the cover (12) with foam section (11) from the backrest frame (10) and pull it upward | ||
