Remove/install sliding door

Risk of injury caused by fingers being pinched or crushed when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, liftgates or sliding roof

Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.

Remove door catch (2).

Open sliding door (1) approx 40 cm

 The support rollers (5) should be located between the bolts (3).

Separate cable tie (9)

 Installation: Replace cable ties (9).

Disconnect electrical connector (6)

Unscrew bolt bolts of left lower link on cable track (7)

 The bolts are located below the electrical line of the cable track (7).

Remove cable track (7) upward from working area and fix in place with adhesive strips

Install multifunctional lifting/holding device (8) on sliding door (1)

 The multifunctional lifting/holding device (8) must be located at a slightly lifted position, to lower the sliding door (1) so that the guide roller can exit its guide at the lower side of the sliding door (1).

Remove bolts (3)

 Have helper hold nuts on inside

Lower sliding (1) using multifunctional lifting/holding device (8) and remove from vehicle

 Guide rail (4) can slip off

 Installation: Observe guide rollers at bottom side of sliding door (1).

Remove guide rail (4) from support rollers (5)

 Check guide rail (4), support rollers (5) and guide rollers, replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order

Check adjustment of sliding door (1), adjust if necessary
