1 Start in outer front corner of window plate (4, arrow) with "Mercedes star" punch.
Note
The tip of the Mercedes star should point upward in relation
to the printing.
2 Then position the "W" punch with the edge aligned with the first mark in the window plate (4) and punch in (arrow).
3 Move forward one mark on the scale in the window plate (4) with each subsequent number punch until the entire vehicle identification number and final Mercedes star have been punched in.
