Measure

Observe general information on chassis alignment.

Shift manual transmission into neutral position.

Install brake pedal jack with adapter between brake pedal and driver's seat.


Install tools carefully.
Otherwise, the driver's seat may be damaged.

 A slight pressure on the brake pedal is sufficient.

Open window on driver's door for impact routine.

Switch off ignition.

Close all doors and hoods.

 Do not load vehicle anymore.

Remove wheel trims.

With steel wheels.

Mount quick clamping device.

 Use suitable quick clamping devices of the wheel alignment measurement system.

Attach measuring heads of wheel alignment measurement system.

Perform rim run-out compensation.

Unlock turnplates and sliding plates.

Determine vehicle level at front and rear axle.

Perform initial measurement.

 The actual suspension data such as camber, toe, steering axis inclination, caster and the toe-out angle are determined here.

Check toe-in and camber on rear axle.

 These values are design specific and they cannot be adjusted.

Check and adjust camber and caster on front axle.

Check and adjust toe at front axle.

Perform final measurement.

Detach measuring heads from wheel alignment measurement system.

Remove quick clamping devices.

Install wheel trims.
