Press supporting joint (7) out of steering knuckle (5)

 Install new self-locking nut.

Pull steering knuckle (5) outwards and slide front axle shaft (60) out of front axle shaft flange

 Tie steering knuckle to one side using suitable wire.

Support steering knuckle (arrow).

 Clamp a block of wood at the top between the steering knuckle and the front spring.

Tie front axle shaft (60) to one side

 Do not damage the rubber boots and rpm sensor rotor.

Press supporting joint (7) out of lower transverse control arm (4)

 Install new self-locking nut.

Check supporting joint (7)

Replace if necessary 

 Installation: After installing new supporting joint, apply an approved EP filler to protect it against corrosion.
