Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove respective front wheel.

Detach brake hose (1) from brake line.

 Seal connections immediately.

Remove electric line (2) of rpm sensor.

 For this, disconnect electrical connector of rpm sensor and remove electric line (2) of rpm sensor from body.

Remove torsion bar linkage (3) from lower control arm (4).

Remove tie rod (5) from steering knuckle (6).

Support front-axle half (10) and secure with tensioning strap against falling down.



Remove suspension strut (7) from body.

Remove bolts (8).

 Counterhold nuts.

 Bolt/nut, lower control arm to front axle carrier

Remove upper transverse control arm (9) from steering knuckle (6).

Lower front-axle half (10) and remove.

Install in the reverse order.
