Remove/install air shutoff valve

Remove/install

Turn key in ignition switch to position "0".

 Vehicles with Keyless Go code 889: Press Keyless GO Start and stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off.

Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter
(min. 2 m).

Remove front engine cover

Remove/install air filter housing

Remove air filter housing

When removing the air shutoff valve (1) on the left cylinder head.

Detach pneumatic line (3) and air hose (4) from air shutoff valve (1)

Unscrew bolts (1a) and remove air shutoff valve (1).



 Installation: Install new gasket

Install in the reverse order
