Remove/install

Slacken the poly-V belt (2) and remove it from the guide pulley (1).

Remove the screw (3) and remove with the guide pulley (1).

Remove the screw (3) only from the oil filter.

Bolt, guide pulley to oil filter (major assembly carrier)

Remove the screw (3) from the washer (5) and remove the guide pulley (1) and then the washer (4).

Note the sequence of washers (4, 5).

Check

Check guide pulley (1) for wear and damage.

If there is a problem,

replace guide pulley (1).

Install in the reverse order.
