Remove

Remove right front axle shaft.

Remove engine stabilizer mount.

Remove the bracket (3).

 To do this, remove screws (2).

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (1) from axle drive module (4).


Use a suitable protective base and carefully remove radial shaft sealing ring (1).
Otherwise, damage to the sealing surface of the axle drive module (4) may result in leaks.

 Collect any transmission oil which runs out.

Clean

Clean sealing surface of the radial shaft sealing ring (1) on the axle drive module (4).

Assembly cleaner

Install

Push new radial shaft sealing ring (1) as shown onto the drift (5) up to end stop in the direction of the arrow (arrow A).

Install radial shaft sealing ring (1) with drift (5) in the direction of the arrow (arrow B) into the axle drive module (4) up to the end stop.

Pull drift (5) out of the radial shaft sealing ring (1) and remove.

Position bracket (3) on the axle drive module (4) and screw in screws (2).

Install engine stabilizer mount.

Install right front axle shaft.

Check

Check transmission oil level.
