Disconnect battery ground line

Remove air filter housing

Pull locking lever outwards (arrows) and disconnect electrical connector on ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/23)

Detach ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/23) upwards out of the control unit brackets (1)

Remove ball head support (2) from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/23)

When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/23).

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory using STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary.

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
