Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Move transmission selector lever to position "P"

Set gearshift lever in neutral

Turn transmitter key in EIS [EZS] control unit to position "0" and remove

 To prevent unintentional starting of the engine.

Lay aside compression recorder (1) in engine compartment and lead electrical line (3) to starter (M1)



Lift/jack up vehicle

Attach adapter line (5) to electrical line terminal 50 for starter (M1)



Connect electrical line (3) with adapter line (5)

Lower vehicle

Disconnect electrical line (4) on jump-start connection point connector (X4/43)



Turn engine by actuating contact switch (2)



Disconnect in reverse order
